Austin Seminary faithfully seeks to fulfill our mission to equip leaders for Christian service in the world. With this project, we envision not just a library building but an environment that encourages creativity and inspires dialogue among diverse groups: faculty, visiting scholars and ministers, residential and commuter students, and the local and global community. The Learning and Information Center is a touchstone of Austin Seminary’s expanding view of theological education. Emerging from a tradition of training Presbyterian pastors, and inspired by the ability of technology to connect the wider church, we are responding with the flexibility to meet changing needs of Christian leaders and learners.

The new Learning and Information Center will:

  • Provide space and technology to share our resources with the wider church community
  • Include a safe, convenient, 24/7 place to study with access to resources, a high priority for our students
  • Enhance faculty interaction through flexible space
  • Support small-group study by providing more options and enhanced spaces for focused collaborative work
  • Support robust distance learning center for interaction and the exchange of ideas, locally and globally
  • Increase our capacity to provide access to the history of the Presbyterian Church in the Southwest

Please partner with us to provide the tools needed by the next generation of Christian leaders!
