Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary announces a tenure-track position in the area of church history. Candidates must possess competence in this field from the apostolic period to the present, but should be particularly knowledgeable in American church history. The person appointed to this position may also be appointed as the first holder of the Thomas White Currie Chair of American Church History. A central value of the Currie Chair is scholarly interest in church history as it relates to the American Southwest. This position includes teaching in all degree programs (MATS, MDiv, and DMin).
