Community life at Austin Seminary goes beyond the classroom. We join together in rich worship twice a week. We join in fellowship once a week during our Koinonia lunch—a time for the entire community to gather and connect. And we join our passions through student government, student groups, and community engagement. Our community is knit together through our Beloved Community Covenant—a student initiated covenant that reminds us that “It is our differences that preserve for us unique and powerful opportunities to love one another, in peace, in conflict, and in uncertainty.” We look forward to welcoming you to our community!

Welcome to the Office of Student Affairs and Vocation
The office of Student Affairs and Vocation (SAV) is here to help students and their families throughout their time at Austin Seminary by providing pastoral care and vocational guidance. SAV organizes student counseling and spiritual direction. SAV also helps students coordinate their community life, including student senate and student groups. Come by our office any time for a snack, a listening ear, and a quiet place to pray and reflect.
