Holy Rage, Holy Hope
The Pastor as Public Leader
In this age of polarization, how do you move from a place of holy rage to one of holy hope and then help others do the same? How do you lead congregations to become centers of healing that can bridge the divisions that currently exist in our country? Join experienced congregational pastor and former seminary professor Rev. Dr. Rick Rouse to contemplate the role of church leader as prophet and change agent—both in the congregation and the larger community. Learn from practical examples and case studies and explore resources needed for the journey in a small, ecumenical community of other pastoral leaders.
This workshop consists of six 90-minute facilitated Zoom sessions with teaching and breakouts for peer learning. Zoom meetings will be held on Thursdays, 2:30-4:00 p.m. CST, January 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 24. Additionally, you will be able to share resources and insights with your group on our online learning space, EBW Springs.
