EBW Springs is an online gathering space bubbling with refreshing ideas that refresh you. Part online learning platform, part social connection hub, EBW Springs offers e-courses, groups focused on things that matter to you, and thought-provoking conversation threads. We invite you to dive in or just get your toes wet. Come to EBW Springs and:

E-Courses and Online Conversations

Dive into e-courses, convenient, yet thorough, "just in time" learning opportunities, available primarily through the EBW Springs platform above. Or, immerse yourself in online conversations listed in the navigation box on the right side of this page. Both e-courses and digital workshops offer educational experiences ranging from an hour or two to deeper group discussions over multiple weeks.

EBW has made video resources available to all through our Vimeo site. Setting the Table in the Age of Covid features a discussion by Professors Jennifer L. Lord and Cynthia L. Certificate Programs

Certificate in Ministry

Students enrolled in the Certificate in Ministry program will take classes in Bible and theology, preaching and worship, Christian education, and pastoral care and leadership. All classes are developed and taught by Austin Seminary faculty. All are offered online and one or two require brief times together with other students and faculty on campus. The certificate may meet requirements for Commissioned Ruling Elders in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Certificate in Jewish-Christian Relationship

The Certificate in Jewish-Christian Relationship is focused on the deepening of relationships between Christians and Jews through close readings of sacred texts, increased familiarity with these religious traditions’ respective histories, theologies, and liturgies, and an emphasis on ethics in both traditions.

Certificates designed and taught in Spanish:

The Certificado en Ministerio offers transformative theological learning experiences for ministers, teachers, healers, and community members who want to nourish their minds, hearts, and spirits.

If you are a woman called to leadership, Instituto de Maria y Marta develops women leaders for the sake of the church, the community, and the world through the Certificado en Liderazgo Cristiana para Mujeres Hispanas. This program is currently offered online.
