Latina Leadership Programs

Knowing who you are allows you to live with purpose and develop satisfying relationships, both of which can contribute to overall good emotional and spiritual health. “Identity” is the first book of the “Latinas Arise” book series and the foundation of our long path of self-discovery.

“Identity” is the foundation of our long path of self-discovery. Knowing who we are defines the way we think, feel, and act. We find the root of our identity in Christ, and we explore it in light of the Word of God. Here we cover practical topics like who we are and what the Word of God says about this. We introduce the powerful tool of the Enneagram and its application, which is vital for our self-discovery, to improve our interpersonal relationships with family, work, and others. We also introduce the “mujerista” theology, which lifts women as human beings made in the image and likeness of God, with gifts and talents. We also cover topics like self-esteem, negative programming, and how to overcome this. We start sharing the story of Jesus’ relationship with two different sisters, Mary and Martha, each one with their different gift and how they can show us how to find balance between spirituality and action. This book is an eye-opener for Latina women and prepares you to search what God has in store for you.  

Women we are constantly attacked by enemies who try to destroy us and distract us from the purpose that God has for our lives. This is why it is so important to understand what we are dealing with so that we can stand victorious against them. “Defeating Enemies,” the second book of the “Latinas Arise” book series, helps you identify your enemies to crush and defeat them.   

As Christians we face several enemies which will war against us as long as we live. Life here on earth is a battleground. Many Christians are mistaken that salvation marks the end of serious temptation when in reality we Christians must be prepared like soldiers for a battle and learn to know our enemies to be able to defeat them!

“Defeating Enemies” reveals that as women we are constantly attacked by enemies who try to destroy us and distract us from the purpose that God has for our lives. This is why it is so important to understand what we are dealing with so that we can stand victorious against our enemies.  

Most times, the enemies we face are silent and subtle, so being able to identify them is crucial to crush and defeat them. We cover topics like fear, death, domestic violence, social media, comparisons that we make amongst ourselves, loneliness, apathy, among others, which prevent us from growing and progressing in the path that God has for us.  

Our bodies were made by the Lord, and he cares deeply about our bodies. Therefore, shouldn’t we care for them too? Pursuing emotional, physical, and spiritual health is a way to honor God and truly an act of stewardship.  “Strong and Healthy” is the third book of our “Latinas Arise” book series, where we address health in a holistic way.  

Our bodies were made by the Lord, and he cares about our bodies. God cares immensely about your physical, emotional, and mental health, as well, which are all interrelated.  

Therefore, if God cares about our bodies, shouldn’t we care for them, too? Pursuing health is a way to honor God and truly an act of stewardship.  

“Strong and Healthy” addresses health in a holistic way, from your physical and emotional health to your spiritual well-being.  

Health needs to be addressed holistically, this is why we explore topics in three main areas: spiritual health, with topics like rooted in prayer, and living with gratitude and hope; physical health, with topics like learning to care for our bodies, and learning healthy habits for our bodies; and emotional health, learning to recognize and manage our emotions. All this is part of the holistic health of a woman, and when she achieves healthy levels in all these areas, she can better achieve personal satisfaction and fulfill God’s purpose for her life.  

Being a Latina woman in leadership is hard. We aren’t always embraced as capable leaders and face obstacles that other women and men don’t. Even though our God has given us gifts and talents, specifically chosen us for ministry and designed us for more, the world wants to rob us from this calling. “Leadership” is the fourth book of our “Latinas Arise” book series teaching and reminding us that God equips us and calls us for ministry and leadership.   

Being a woman in leadership is hard. We aren’t always embraced as capable leaders and face obstacles that other women and men don’t. Even though our God has given us gifts and talents and has designed us for more, unfortunately the Bible has been manipulated against us.  

In his ministry, Jesus came to vindicate women, he used women for his ministry, he discipled and trained them as well. God will use anyone he chooses, regardless of societal expectations or gender.   

“Leadership” is based on the fact that God equips women and calls them to ministry and leadership.   

This book takes the model of Jesus’ leadership, as the servant leader, and leaves behind the model of leadership according to the world's standards. We include practical tools to be able to develop Jesus’ leadership model, in a strategic and effective way, accordingly to the Word of God. We cover topics like acting with wisdom, connecting, and seeking allies, horizontal violence or violence within women, solidarity, and the importance of seeking justice in our community.   

One of the biggest questions in life is to discover God’s purpose for our lives. Amid the confusion, fears, anxieties, distractions and lies of this chaotic and unsettling world, God’s purposes are being worked out in our lives. “Purpose” is the fifth book of the “Latinas Arise” book series and reminds us that we all have a purpose and that God does nothing randomly or by chance.    

The God of the Bible is a God of purpose. And not just general purposes but specific ones. He is the supreme, long-term strategic planner of the universe. God does nothing randomly or by chance. And his purposes extend from eternity past to eternity future, encompassing not only the ultimate destiny of his creation, but our personal lives, as well. 

One of the biggest questions in life is to discover God’s purpose for our lives. Amid the confusion, fears, anxieties, distractions and lies of this chaotic and unsettling world, it is sometimes hard to understand how God’s purposes are being worked out in our lives.   

The foundation of “Purpose” is that we all have a purpose, wherever we are, and that we need to discover what it is, as well as our gifts and talents, and put them in practice. We cover the purpose of the single woman, the wife’s role, explore creativity, the purpose of women beyond motherhood, and others. It also includes the practical tool of the vision board, which allows us to reach the purpose for which we were created, using our creativity, gifts, and talents that God has given to each one of us.   

Art serves as therapy to release stress, to heal, meditate, and pray. When combined with the Word of God, it is a powerful tool. In each page of this book, you will find a scripture verse that you can color to help your daily practice of meditation, reflection, and prayer. 

There’s not a right way to color, so let your inner creativity take over. Remember that we were all created with that inner creativity, it’s just a matter of exploring it. You will be amazed by the results!  

“Coloring Your Path” is formed of sixty coloring pages that have been compiled from the five books of the “Latinas Arise” book series and serves as a perfect tool and fantastic complement to it.
