February 11 | MLK Service & Luncheon
Every year Austin Seminary also hosts a Eucharist service and community luncheon in February, where we honor and remember The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through worship (featuring a guest preacher) and fellowship.
February 14 | Hopson Symposium
Lecture and Choral Reading with Dr. James Abbington, Associate Professor of Church Music and Worship at Candler School of Theology, Emory. Lunch provided.
February 25 | Celebration of Black History Concert
Join us for an event featuring poetry from Austin Seminary students, musical selections from local Austin group, The Levites, and Black history snapshots.

Prophetic Innovation: An Invitation to Dream for a Liberated Tomorrow | The purpose of HESED at Austin Seminary is to promote awareness and church involvement in the area of social justice, thus enabling hesed, which is Hebrew for love in action.
