Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan is a service that allows current Austin Seminary students, faculty, and staff to obtain copies of articles and books that are not held by the Wright Center or the Harrison Library at SSW.
If you have searched in Sophi Search and found an article or book that is not held by either library, you will see this option in the Access options drop-down:

For some items you may see a Request Item link below the record in the results list instead of the Access options drop down.
Click on the link and fill out the form, which should already be pre-populated with the necessary citation information. A member of the library will submit the request for you and let you know when we have received a copy of the requested book or article.

Alternatively, if you have a citation for an article or book but cannot find it in our catalog or databases, contact our Access and Instruction Librarian, David Schmersal. Please indicate in the message that you are interested in an interlibrary loan. Please be aware that this service can take up to two weeks.
