New York Times

The New York Times U.S. and International editions are available to current students, faculty, and staff through an Austin Seminary / Library subscription.

Note: The NY Times account you create will use your email username (Ex.'John.Calvin') if you comment on any articles. Please be aware of this privacy concern.

First-time Users: Using the link below, create a NY Times account using your seminary email address (xxx.xxx@student.austinseminary.edu). Your account will be valid for one calendar year. After that calendar year, you will need to reauthenticate your account.

Reauthenticating your account: Your Seminary-sponsored NYT account is generally good for one year, and then the system needs to verify that you are still a current student, faculty, or staff member. You do this by clicking on the link for creating an account. You'll be prompted to log in using your Seminary credentials (this is the login you use for your email / Seminary accounts, not your NYT account). After you enter your Seminary credentials, you'll see a screen that has a big button to create an account, and a smaller link underneath that says "Already have an account? Log in." Click the Log In link and there you should enter in your NYT credentials with your seminary email address. After you do that, the system will know you still work for Austin Seminary and the access to all the NYT content should be restored.
