The David L. and Jane Stitt Library is named in honor of Austin Seminary's fourth president and his wife. The building was dedicated in May of 1950, with an expansion added in May of 1978. Plans are currently underway to expand and remodel the library into the Mary and Robert J. Wright Learning and Information Center, which will surround and include The David and Jane Stitt Collection. Stitt Library supports faculty research and student information needs for the Austin Seminary campus. The library has open stacks, a large reading room, group study space, quiet study carrels, exhibits, and computers for our students, faculty, and guests.
