How to log in

When you click on a resource limited to current Austin Seminary students, faculty, or staff, you will be prompted to log in with your Seminary credentials. You'll first see a screen that looks like this:

Current students, faculty, and staff should select the first option on that menu. You'll then be taken to a login screen:

I’m an alum / student at the Seminary of the Southwest / have an Austin Seminary library card. Can I access these e-resources?

Off-campus access to our subscription resources is generally limited to current Austin Seminary students, faculty, and staff as a condition of our licenses. Alumni of Austin Seminary have off-campus access to a subset of resources through Sophi Search for Alums. Visit our alumni resources page for details. Other community users, including alumni and SSW students can access all our resources on campus from the computers in the Wright Learning and Information Center.

Troubleshooting tips

What is it? How does it work?

Our off-campus authentication system eliminates the need for users to manage separate sets of usernames and passwords for most of the resources the library provides access to.  Most of the time a database, ebook, or article will include a "permalink" that you can use to return to it or to share with another member of the seminary community.  If a link isn't working, you can try to fix it with our linking tool or contact the library for help.
