As demographics change, churches need to change the ways they worship. Discover how your church can successfully experiment with worship as an intergenerational community.
In partnership with the Association of Presbyterian Tentmakers
November 1-3, 2013
Being in ministry today is often more than just taking on the role of a pastor. Come and build community with people who want to do pastoral ministry… and something else. Learn how to tell your vocational story to inspire others. Decode the structures that impact non-traditional ways of being in ministry and meet people who are making it happen. This conference is for long-time tentmakers, bi-vocational pastors, seminary students, and all those who want to help create new stories of serving God in ministry.
November 9, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $15 (includes meals)
Presenter: Dr. Leticia Guardiola-Saenz, Assistant Professor of Christian Scriptures, School of Theology and Ministry, Seattle University
This is a day of theological education for Hispanic pastors and church leaders to explore the transformative power of the miracles of God as performed by Jesus Christ in the midst of meagerness and abundance. You will reflect on the significance of reenacting the miracles of God in the everyday struggles of Hispanic natives and new immigrants in the US borderlands. This workshop is conducted in Spanish.
