Discovery Weekend is an opportunity for an extended visit, including course presentations in areas such as theology, preaching, and biblical studies, a student panel discussion, and plenty of information about life at seminary and the admissions process.

At Discovery Weekend you will spend time with other prospective seminarians who can identify with your questions and concerns, and you will converse with Seminary faculty, staff, and students who can address those concerns. Over the course of the two days you will receive information about available academic programs, community life and the admissions process. You will have the opportunity to see first-hand what Austin, Texas has to offer.

Once you have decided to join us, the Admissions office will contact you to discuss housing needs, arrival/departure information, and any dietary restrictions you may have. The Seminary offers housing and meals to participants of Discovery Weekend at no additional cost.

Discovery Weekend begins on Feburary 19 at 8:00 a.m. and ends on February 21 at 1:00 p.m.
