Lectures

Part of the mission of Austin Seminary is to create a space for dialogue about contemporary Christian thought and practice. A regular program of lectures enables students, alumni/ae, and the public to hear a variety of distinguished speakers throughout the academic year: MidWinters  are held in the winter just before the beginning of the spring term; The George S. Heyer Jr. Lecture, celebrating the Seminary's relationship with The University of Texas, is given in the spring; and, The Settles Lectures in Mission and Evangelism are given the fall.
