How to log in
Our off-campus authentication service uses your Austin Seminary username and password. Some user groups (adjuncts and certificate students) are given different login credentials. If you have trouble logging in, please contact Stitt Library. Email: email@example.com or call 512-404-4879 (during business hours).
I’m an alum / student at the Seminary of the Southwest / have an APTS library card. Can I access these eResources?
Off campus access to our subscription resources is limited to current Austin Seminary students, faculty, and staff as a condition of our licenses. Alumni should visit our alumni resources page. Other community users, including alumni and SSW students can access these resources on campus from the computers in Stitt Library.
What is it? How does it work?
Off Campus Authentication is a subscription service that allows off campus users access to Stitt Library eResources such as EBSCO's ATLA Religion Database, the EBSCO eBook collection, and Oxford Biblical Studies Online. When clicking on a link from off campus, Austin Seminary users will be prompted to enter their username/password to login. Once logged in, the user should be redirected to the resource.
The service verifies your access using your Austin Seminary credentials. Any Off Campus link to library resources will start out with: Ex. https://apts.idm.oclc.org/login?url= and continue with the eResource link.
Faculty or students who want to create a link that they can share with other members of the seminary community for off campus access to an eResource (through the portal, email, etc.) can follow the instructions here.
