Tuition and Expenses
MDiv and MATS Students
The following is a projected minimum twelve-month budget for a first-year student living alone in the residence hall, following the Master of Divinity recommended course load.
Please be aware that living expenses may vary. While it might be possible to live on a slightly lower budget than the example below, it is entirely likely that expenses could be higher than this estimate.
Tuition for 60 credit* hours for 2010-2011 Academic Year - $11,400
(Financial Aid is available for tuition expenses only - 4 courses in Fall and Spring, 1 course during the January term, 1 course in Summer. If otherwise eligible, financial aid is available for the credits required for the degree. *Two credits at Austin Seminary are equal to one standard semester hour.)

DMin Students
The Doctor of Ministry tuition and fees for the 2010-2011 academic year are as follows:
Entrance Fee: $300
Ministry and Context Course: $1320
Doctoral Seminar: $1320
Elective 1: $1320
Elective 2: $1320
Elective 3: $1320
Elective 4: $1320
The Doctoral Project Supervision: $1320
Graduation Fee: $400
Total Cost: $9940
A program continuation fee of $150 is charged for each term the student
is not enrolled. All fees are subject to change. On-campus housing is
available at a cost for doctoral students; housing is
limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Meals may
be
purchased in the Seminary dining hall during the week from Monday
breakfast through Friday noon.
International Students
Note that the above estimate does not include travel costs (applicants need to plan on paying for round-trip international travel to the United States as well as for any travel done within the United States).
