MISSION STATEMENT:  To invite students to meet weekly to read scripture and reflect on how God calls us to serve his kingdom here and now.

MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the African American Student Group (AASG) is to provide a forum for students of African American descent to support each other through the sharing of ethnic and religious experiences. As a student-centered organization the group will provide opportunities for students to discuss specific issues relating to African Americans within the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary community.

MISSION STATEMENT: As followers of Christ, confident in the Word of God and with the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to celebrate each of God’s children, staunchly advocating for the total inclusion of all people in the life and leadership of the Church regardless of their created sexual orientation.  By creating a welcoming and supportive space within the APTS community for LGBTQ persons and their allies, we hope to light the path for change both in and beyond our walls.
