Biographical Note: A. H. (Andrew Howlet) Porter McCurdy (1854-1928) was a pastor of the Presbyterian Church in the U. S., Synod of Texas, from 1880 through 1927. He was a corresponding editor, from the Presbytery of Western Texas, for the Texas Presbyterian (Houston, Tex.) from 1892 through at least 1895, and possibly thereafter. He was the moderator for the Synod of Texas in 1898 and he was a member of the committee which nominated the first Directors and Trustees for the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary at its inception.

Scope and Contents: This undated manuscript, titled “Personal Holiness,” is a theological discourse, instructional and moral, possibly intended for publication.
