2015 Cohorts

Desert Fathers and Mothers

We are five pastors in Tucson, Arizona, each with a different kind of ministry, who commit to gather monthly to explore writing as vocation and ministry, sharpen our skills, coax out our unique voice and be renewed through relationships in which spiritual formation for ministry is honored, nurtured and sustained.

Holy, Whole, and Bold

We are five clergywomen who are holy: sanctified by God and dedicated to our ordination vows; whole: dedicated to healing, growth, and bringing the whole of our humanity before God so that we can be sane and thriving even in systems that are unjust; and bold: dedicated to systematic change toward justice.

Joyful Preachers

We are four PCUSA ministers connected by our love of Christ, shared Call, affection for books, and longing for freedom. We propose to become more joyful in our lives and our preaching by encountering Christ in disciplines of reading, conversation, play, and travel. We expect to be surprised by Grace.

Let’s Be Real

We are four young clergywomen striving to "get real" and take off the masks we find ourselves wearing in our pulpits, church offices, and personal lives. Through disciplines of conversation, confession, and communion, we want to reclaim our unique personalities and discover anew the authentic people and pastors God made us.

The Mountaineers

We are six male pastors from the Presbytery of Santa Fe who have been meeting regularly for over a year. To paraphrase one of our members when we first talked about meeting, we are looking for a place to breathe; a place where we can experience the Ruach Elohim.

The Next Faithful Step

Soulful Seasons, City Living is a cohort of five ordained women who currently serve all over the Washington, D.C. area. We are Multi-ethnic, Bi-denominational and all under 35. We are grateful previous participants of the College of Pastoral Leaders program and would like to apply again, titling ourselves, "The Next Faithful Step." In our first iteration, we focused on identity as ministers and people. Now, we want to look to what is next for ourselves and our callings and how we share our identities and lead from those places.
