Public Lecture: Old Testament & Judaism in Reformed Theology, Thursday, Jan. 17
Paul E. Capetz, visiting lecturer from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, will offer a free public lecture titled “Old Testament and Judaism in Reformed Theology.” This lecture is hosted by the course “Approaches to the Doctrine of God,” taught by Professor Cynthia Rigby, and the Office of the Academic Dean.
Rev. Dr. Paul E. Capetz is a professor of historical theology at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. He is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and author of God: A Brief History (Fortress Press, 2003) and Christian Faith as Religion: A Study of Theologies of Calvin and Schleiermacher (University Press of America, 1998).
