Spring Forward at Austin Seminary

We are half way through the Spring term at Austin Seminary. Last month the Office of Admissions hosted a group of prospective students eager to discover their place within the Austin Seminary community and to learn about what programs we have to offer. Beginning this fall, Austin Seminary is excited to offer a third masters-level degree program, the Master of Arts in Ministry Practice (MAMP). We are also looking forward to welcoming Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove to campus as the 2012 Settles lecturer. He’ll conduct a lecture and workshop on the importance of practicing stability in today’s hyper-mobile culture. This upcoming weekend, Education Beyond the Walls will be hosting its first-ever bi-lingual workshop “Crossing the Border with the Bible and Theology,” co-presented by Assistant Professor of Old Testament Gregory Cuéllar. Our faculty members are not only busy at work on campus, they continue to be out and about preaching and teaching. Check out the faculty calendar to see if they will be in your community!
