REFOCUS: Healing the Hurt 2.0

October 10-12

People who work with youth spend their hearts, souls, minds, and energy nurturing teenagers. REFOCUS creates time and space for nurturing these workers with resources, fellowship, a fresh outlook, and a time to be on the receiving end of ministry. We will examine Bibles, Torahs, Qur’ans, and other texts to explore the basic question of what a scripture is. We use scripture all the time as pastors and teachers, but observation of a scripture as a physical object, compared to other scriptures, tells us much about our assumptions about what we are doing and how we are doing it. This will be a hands-on interaction.
